It is based primarily on subsistence farming which work 65% Togolese. The rest of the population of the cocoa, coffee, cotton. The Togo also produces phosphate, mines are located just outside the village of Dekpo.
• Culture
In Togo, French is the official language, l'Ewe, the Kabiyé and Mina are the most widely spoken languages. Religions in the country are Christianity (Catholics, protestants), Islam and Animism. Dekpo village lies at the heart of the country Voodoo.
